Elon Musk Threatens Hostile Takeover of EA, Promises Will Make Everything Right Again

EA over the past decade has garnered the reputation as one of the worst companies of the video game industry. And with recent scandals involving their FIFA franchise and gambling, the botched launch and dwindling sales of Battlefield 2042, and their general scumminess, the gaming giant's success is being called into question.

But in a stunning move, Elon Musk has offered to buy out the company and take it private promising to take the company further than it's gone before. "We can treat EA like a tech company, I run a tech company." Musk tweeted. "It will be different I can acknowledge that, but I think EA will be integral in the development of AI and space and all sorts of future stuff. We could possibly take some EA intellectual property to Mars; I think there's a lot of potential here under my leadership."

Elon Musk has been criticized for having no experience in the video game industry but is confirmed to play video games and made a game when he was 12 which makes him very qualified. A group of Elon Musk fans calling themselves "Musk-eteers" made viral tweets speculating what Musk could bring back from the EA graveyard. "Papa Musk, he's going to bring back Bullfrog, Black Box, Mythic, Visceral, Pandemic, and all the great developers nobody under 30 has ever heard of."

Elon Musk later tweeted "Behold, I make all things new!" with images attached of a Tesla, a Space X Rocket, and a Boring Tunnel.
